Karen Millen Capsule Project

 

A capsule project for 'Design protege' competition with Karen Millen,

I looked into catwalk trends such as the SS14 Modern romance trend forecasted by WGSN’s.
I combined some ideas I had in my graduate catwalk collection with a few textile approaches I had been working on.

I used laser cut ideas, feminine details, and minimalist silhouette, Sheer layered fabrics that would have transparency in the light. Layering this voile over my floral manipulations, Denim Laser cutwork over filigree prints giving depth to the textured and three dimensional side.
